After our brief review of the user manual, we decided to check if the batteries had arrived charged. So, we screwed in a "Tobacco High" cartridge/atomizer (16mg) into one of the two batteries provided and began to puff away. As the LED tip glowed a bright orange, we inhaled what tasted very much like a tobacco cigarette and exhaled a pleasing cloud of white vapor. Unlike so many other e-cigarettes we've tested, the taste was actually enjoyable. Best described as a mild but distinct tobacco, there was no fruity flavor, no chemical overtones, or unpleasant aftertaste.
The product components and various accessories were all found to be well-made and all functioned as designed. Drawing on the Breathe Fresh e-cigarette was easy, the vapor volume produced was excellent, and there was no readily discernible smell. Further, the cartridge/atomizers were individually wrapped in cellophane to maintain freshness.
